At Method Enterprise, we are committed to your complete satisfaction. As the exclusive African distributor for METHOD laboratory equipment, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. This return policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products purchased from Method Enterprise Ltd. Please read it carefully before initiating a return.

Return Policy Overview

14-Day Return Window

You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. The return request must be submitted within this window, and the item must be shipped back to us promptly thereafter. Returns received after the 14-day period will not be accepted unless prior arrangements have been made with our customer service team.

Original Condition Required

All returned products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging. Every accessory, manual, certificate, mounting hardware, and documentation that was included with the product must be returned. Items showing signs of use, installation, modification, or damage caused by the customer will not qualify for a return.

Return Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including packaging materials and insurance. However, if the product is defective, damaged during shipping, or the wrong item was sent, Method Enterprise will cover the full cost of return shipping and arrange for collection at no charge to the customer.

Refund Processing Time

Once we receive your returned item at our warehouse, our quality assurance team will inspect it within 2 business days. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days from the date we receive the item. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Products Eligible for Return

Unopened Products in Original Packaging

Products that remain sealed in their original, undamaged manufacturer packaging are eligible for a full return within the 14-day window.

Products with Manufacturing Defects

If you discover a manufacturing defect in any METHOD laboratory equipment product, you are entitled to a full return regardless of whether the packaging has been opened. Please document the defect with clear photographs before initiating your return.

Wrong Item Shipped

If you receive a product that does not match your order, we sincerely apologize for the error. You are entitled to a full return and exchange at no additional cost. Please do not install or use the incorrect item. Contact us immediately.

Damaged During Shipping

If your product arrives with shipping damage, you must report the damage within 48 hours of delivery. Take photographs of the damaged packaging and product from multiple angles and contact our team immediately.

Products NOT Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned under our standard return policy. Please review these exclusions carefully before placing your order.

Installed or Used Products

Products that have been installed, connected to water supply lines, electrical systems, or ventilation ductwork are not eligible for return.

Custom-Ordered or Specially Configured Items

Products that have been custom-ordered, specially configured, or modified to meet your specific laboratory requirements cannot be returned.

Products Without Original Packaging

We require the original manufacturer packaging for all returns. Products returned without their original packaging cannot be accepted.

Items Returned After 14-Day Window

Our 14-day return policy is strictly enforced. Return requests submitted after the 14-day window from the date of delivery will not be accepted.

Consumables and Spare Parts

Consumable items and spare parts are non-returnable unless they arrive defective or damaged. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the defect.

Return Process

Follow these six steps to return a product. Our customer service team is available to guide you through each step.

Step 2: Describe the Reason with Photos

Clearly describe the reason for your return and include photographic evidence. The more detail you provide, the faster we can process your return.

Step 3: Receive Your Return Authorization Number

Once your return request is approved, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This must be clearly written on the outside of the return package. The RAN is valid for 7 days.

Step 4: Package the Item Securely

Repack the product in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, certificates, mounting hardware, and protective materials.

Step 5: Ship to Our Warehouse

Ship the package to: Method Enterprise Ltd, Alpha Centre, Suite No. 74, Mombasa Rd, Nairobi, Kenya. Use a reputable courier service with tracking capabilities.

Step 6: Inspection and Refund/Exchange

Our quality assurance team will inspect the product within 2 business days. If approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 10 business days.

Refund Methods

Original Payment Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. For bank transfer payments, the refund will be sent to the originating bank account within 10 business days. For M-Pesa payments, the refund will be sent to the M-Pesa number used for the transaction.

Store Credit

Store credit is available immediately upon return approval and can be applied to any future purchase from Method Enterprise. Store credit does not expire and is non-transferable.

Product Exchange

You may choose to exchange the returned product for a different item of equal or greater value. If the replacement product costs more, you will be required to pay the price difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

Contact Us Immediately with Photos

As soon as you discover damage or a defect, contact our customer service team. Provide clear photographs showing the damage or defect from multiple angles. Do not attempt to repair, modify, or further use the damaged item.

We Arrange Collection at No Cost

For verified damaged or defective products, Method Enterprise will arrange collection of the item from your location at absolutely no cost to you.

Full Refund or Replacement Shipped

For damaged or defective items, you are entitled to either a full refund or a brand-new replacement product shipped to you at no additional cost. Replacement products are dispatched on a priority basis, typically within 2-3 business days.

Cancellation Policy

Before Dispatch: Full Refund

Orders can be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched from our warehouse for a full refund with no cancellation fee. Your refund will be processed within 5 business days to your original payment method.

Orders in Transit: Standard Return Policy

Once your order has been dispatched and is in transit, it cannot be cancelled directly. However, you may refuse delivery or accept delivery and then initiate a standard return.

Custom Orders: Non-Cancellable Once Production Begins

Custom-ordered or specially configured products cannot be cancelled once production or configuration has begun. A deposit is required for all custom orders, which is non-refundable once production starts.
